The Diving Board

I wholeheartedly agree and believe that depth is greater than width

But in life, and business, we need to have different options… and Derek Sivers said it best when he explained that the best plan is the one with the most options

And that’s why I love diving boards

If you look at your business as a┬ádiving board – and your different marketing strategies as the nails holding it in – the fewer nails, the higher the chance of failure and your diving board falling

Far too many people set up their business on only one lead generation strategy… but then again far too many spread themselves too thin and never go deep enough…

Personally, I love finding 5-7 platforms and strategies to utilise and try… both online and offline… then give them your all

Over time, you’ll solidify what works best for you… and can bring it down to 3 or 4 that are your bread and butter

Just remember that times change… so don’t get romantic about the strategies you use
