The Odyssey

Odysseus was almost home to Ithaca. A 10 year journey was coming to and end.  He’d conquered the great city of Troy. And warmth was in his heart as he pictured holding his wife

But Poseidon had other plans

And he added an extra 20 years to Odysseus’ already long journey… not to mention the turmoil that awaited him when he finally did arrive home

Life is an Odyssey

It’s an adventure. A series of up’s and down’s. A series of secrets for you to uncover the answer to

You do not know what awaits you. Yet you do have control over where you go and what you do. It’s just unfortunate that scenarios like Odysseus’ will happen to you… and you’ll end up many leagues from where you wish to be

You may very well be off track at this present point in time…
And you will not always see the correct path to take back right this very second…
I know I certainly do not

JRR Tolkien has some wise words of wisdom for you in this time of uncertainty and unknown…

“Still round the corner there may wait,
A new road or a secret gate,

And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun”

‘and though we pass them by today, tomorrow we may come this way…’

You don’t need to see the path right now. You don’t need to know the answer. You may want to – as that’s human nature…

But when we detach ourselves from the outcome, focus on the work, and enjoy our own Odyssey – our roads and gates begin to appear

P.S: yes. we did begin in Ancient Greece and ended up in Middle Earth… an Odyssey of its own 😉
